Well let me tell you all about it!\n\nIt's a STEM/STEAM fun activity that GCEDC and GLOW with Your Hands are the main event sponsors. \n\nGLOW With Your Hands\, along with the GDEDC\, will sponsor fourteen kids from the ages of 7-10 and fourteen kids from ages 11-13. (Kids must be 7 by day of race and cannot be over the age of 13 on race day.) This means 28 LUCKY kids get to race each other down Ellicott Avenue! What will they be racing in you ask? \n\nLet me tell you the best part\, our sponsors have paid for the Boxcar kits for all 28 kids at no cost to you! You can build them\, decorate them\, and show them off. What a great way to end the summer! \n\n*Cars will need to be turned back in at the end of race.* Anyone that picks up a kit and does not participate in the race will need to return the kit or be charged for the full purchase price of the Box Car kit. \n\n\n\nThe BID will be holding a work shop the day of the Boxcar kit pick up - Saturday\, July 23rd@ 1 Oam in Jackson Square with a rain date of July 30th.
