Batavia Turf grows 100% Kentucky Bluegrass and a Turf Type Tall Fescue Blend, grown from Gold Tag Certified seed of known origin for 18 - 24 months on both mineral and muck soils with a minimum of 4-5 cultivars. These cultivars promote great color, low mow capabilities, resistance to Northeastern pests and strong root growth high traffic wear. All turf fields are routinely inspected ensuring that the sod is well rooted, healthy and free of diseases, weeds and pests.
