About Us

The David M. McCarthy Memorial Ice Arena is home to a NHL size, 200' x 85' ice rink, with a maximum capacity of 480 people. Other amenities include concession, party rooms and skate sharpening. The David M. McCarthy Memorial Ice Arena is home to Genesee Amateur Hockey Association (GAHA, aka Batavia Ramparts), Batavia Notre Dame United (formerly Batavia Ice Devils & Batavia Notre Dame Irish), as well as Batavia Men’s Hockey League.

Whether you visit us for many of our hockey leagues, learn to skate, skating activities, or are a first time visitor, our goal is to provide you with an experience that meets or exceeds your expectations. Join us on the ice!
