Snapshot of the Farm:
Torrey Farms Inc. is a local family farm operation based in Elba, New York. There are currently 10 family members actively involved in the farming operations. Family members involved today include members of both the 11th and 12th generations of the Torrey family to farm in this country. We control all aspects in the growing and selling of our produce, from seed to shelf. We handle all of the planting and field operations, harvesting, packing, marketing and transportation for all of the items that we ship. We farm over 12,000 acres across 5 counties in Western New York. Today, the 11th Generation family members include 3 siblings; brothers John and Mark who oversee the growing, field operations, harvesting and packing operations for all commodities and their sister, Maureen, who handles all of the sales and marketing, financial, and human resource aspects of the business. Mark's children, Molly, Travis, Shannon, Jordyn, Lucas, Jed and Maxwell are part of the 12th generation family members involved in the farming operations in various roles today.
